Dean Humphrey scored twice to inspire AFC Houghton Magna to a 4-2 NFA Sunday Trophy with over St Margaret’s Reserves.
Houghton’s scoring was completed by efforts from Simon Blowman Paul Dempsey, wwhile Maggies’ consolations were netted by Joe Moriarty and Tom Retief.
The only other game in the competition to survive the wet weather saw Sunnyside Corinthians coast to a 5-2 win over FC Hunsbury.
Glen Roberts led the way with a double, with their other goals were scored by Lee McConnell, Courtney Herbert and Adam Quigley.
NTFA Goodliff Cup
The big all-Combination clash saw St Margaret’s edge past their old rivals Standens Barn 4-3.
Maggies match winners were Ross Harris, Fazel Koriya and Simon Underwood (2), with Barn hitting back through Ben Foster (2) and Craig Cotton.
Ken Parker Cup
AC Squirrels hit Fox & Hounds for six as they coasated to a 6-0 win thanks to efforts from Paul Edwards (3), Jamie Ellis (2) and Josh Urquhart.
Parker Cup
Martin Johnston and Dan Nunn (2) were the goal stars as FC Gallery eased past AC Squirrels Reserves 3-0.
Manfield Rangers Reserves claimed something of a scalp as they coasted to a 5-0 win over Outlet Sports, who are a division above them.
Rafeal Brown, Martin Parsons, Lee Kew and Andy Ranft (2) sealed the deal for the division three side.
Nene FC were indebted to goals from Dave Heathcote and Adam Bell as they beat Devonshire Club 2-1, the consolation coming from Joe Hanley, while
AFC Dee hammered Thorplands Club 81 Reserves 5-1.
Nathan Garofalo netted for Club 81 but Adam Russell (3), Aaron O’Leary and Jack Kaare were Dee’s match winners.
Spartak won 4-2 at Wootton Fields with Matty Silecchia (2), Will Briscoe and Liam Norton on target.
Fields replied through Callum Beech and Edmunds Locmeli.
Araglen Cup
A Karl Hoy single was enough to give Hotspurs a 1-0 win over Moulton side FC Locomotiv.
Obelisk Utd Reserves knocked out fellow division four side FC Ryan Munich in a very tight game of 5-4.
Obelisk netted through a double from Joe Robinson and a hat-trick from Graham Ahearn, while Munich’s scorers were Daniel Duggan, Adam Jones, Donovan Reed and Daniel Letts.
Workhouse FC were 2-0 winners over Butchers Loco thanks to efforts from Ross Bartley and Jamie Campbell.
Premier Division
Monks Park WMC claimed their first league win of the season as they saw off fellow strugglers Dynamo 4-1.
Rhyse Coleman scored a hat-trick for Park with Sam Nunn completing the scoring, while Ian Colwell replied.
Division Two
Monks Park WMC Reserves suffered a 4-3 loss at home to St Margaret’s A who move to third place.
Ashley Pickering, Arron Bradshaw and Jack Bullimore scored for Park Res but Maggies on it thanks to Kerrith Belfon (2), Robert Kiernan and Ashley Inwood.
Division Three
James Hine (2), Nathan Loudon and Steve Addo were on target as Billing United moved up to second thanks to a 4-3 win over FC Locomotiv Moulton.
Moulton’s scorers were Kyle Daniels, Luke Wilson and James Page.
Division Four
AFC Pioneers came out on the wrong end of an 8-4 scoreline against Victoria Park Rangers, with Sam French scoring five times.
Also scoring for Rangers were Anthony Orji, Andrew Dawkins and Dan Young while Pioneers netted through Thomas Antwi (2), Darryl Ullah and Rob Chapman.
Division Five
Thorplands Club 81 A and Spring Park were also involved in a 12-goal match and it was Club 81 who emerged as 8-4 winners.
Jack Gray (3), Lee Coles, Dean Gudgeon (2), Steven Snell and Rich Dunkley produced the goods for Club, with Spring Park replying through Jay J Walters (3) and Martin Cox.
The District lost 4-1 to Victoria Park Rangers Reserves. Glen Thompson netted for District and but Ryan Edwards (2), Stephan Widdop and Ben Wilson won it for Victoria Park.
FC Gallery Reserves and Vesta FC drew 3-3. Singles for Gallery came from Jamie Forest, Shaun Fallon and Jordan Hornby, while Vesta’s tally was made up of an own goal and strikes for Rob Pinney and Adam Hayes.
