Report: Blisworth this week managed to start the brighter of the two teams and took advantage of this by scoring within the opening minute of the game they then added further three quick goals. Kettering managed to respond and pulled three goals back before half time. In the second half Kettering then managed to pull level and then increase their lead to 6-4. Blisworth then showed a huge amount of desire and pulled the scoreline level to 6–6. Kettering then once again took the lead at 7-6 before Blisworth again pulled level at 7-7. In the dying seconds, Piff scored the winner for Blisworth to make it 8-7. Both teams played some wonderful passing football in horrible wet, windy and cold conditions and as the scoreline indicates this was a very open and flowing game.
