Northampton Road Runners’ members turned out in force in the Three Counties Cross Country League meeting at Guilsborough.

The recent wet weather has made this year’s cross country the wettest and muddiest ever, yet the races are more popular than ever before with record entries.

NRR’s ladies team came seventh on the day, with Rosanna Andrews, making her cross country debut, finishing 10th overall lady.

Rosanna’s mother Penny was 25th and Charlotte Yarker completed the scorers.

Paula Pinney and Katherine White also ran their first cross country events and have promised to come back for more.

Suzanne Baldwin somehow managed to keep her kit completely clean.
