Cobblers striker Adebayo Akinfenwa has been shortlisted for the npower League Two player of the month award for November, although manager Aidy Boothroyd has not made it on to the shortlist for the manager of the month honour.
The striker scored seven goals in five games in November, including the first hat-trick of his career in the 4-2 win at Accrington Stanley.
Akinfenwa also scored in the 1-1 draw at York City, hit a double (one from the penalty spot) in the 3-1 win over Wycombe and registered a further single against Morecambe.
But Boothroyd, despite leading the team to three wins and a draw in the club’s five November games, has not been shortlisted for the managerial accolade.
