A woman was attacked as she walked along a Northampton road in the early hours of the morning.
The 44-year-old was attacked as she walked along Cliftonville between 6.30am and 7.40am on Friday, November 9.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: “The woman was approached by two women.
“One of the offenders pushed the victim in the shoulder resulting in her falling to the ground.
“The second offender then grabbed hold of her handbag. The handbag broke and the offenders made off, without it.”
The first attacker is white, a medium build, about 25-years-old, with dark brown hair which was in a ponytail.
She wore a black knee length coat with buttons, gold necklaces and a red V-neck top.
The second is also white, with a slight tan, also aged about 25, about 5ft 7in, with shoulder length, wavy brown. She had a rose tattoo on her left forearm.
