A woman has died after a crash on the A14 in Northamptonshire on Thursday morning.
The single vehicle accident happened near the Kettering turn-off of the A14 at around 8.05am and involved a white Kia.
Police have said the 43-year-old woman driving the car was taken to Kettering General Hospital but later died.
The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway, near to junction eight.
One lane of the road was closed as a result of the collision.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision.
The woman has not been named yet.
Her death is the second road fatality in Northamptonshire over the festive period, following the death of a passenger in a car which hit a tree near Church Brampton on Boxing Day.
