Samoa star George Pisi admits Saints have let their fans down recently.
But last season’s player of the year has urged the supporters to keep the faith ahead of Sunday’s clash with rivals Saracens.
Saints’ 18-9 defeat to Harlequins last Saturday was their fourth in their past five games at Franklin’s Gardens.
And it was also the third time they have failed to score a try in a game on their own turf this season.
Saints will look to bounce back against Sarries, with Northampton fans expected to pack out stadium:mk for what is technically an away game.
Pisi revealed his annoyance at not being able to please the crowd last weekend, but said: “Of course it’s frustrating. Here at the Gardens we’ve got a good fan base.
“It’s disappointing for us to let our fans down, let our families down and that, but we can come back. Just believe in us and we will bounce back.”
Saints preceded the league defeat to Premiership champions with a stunning 10-9 Heineken Cup win at Ulster.
But they failed to maintain the momentum, and Pisi said: “It’s all about consistency. We’re not consistent enough.
“We don’t want to be a sometime team, we want to be a team that’s consistent every week, we want to be fighting. We just need to tweak the little things and we’ll be fine.”
