Two masked men raided a village shop in Northamptonshire on New Year’s Eve, taking cash and cigarettes.
The men, who had woollen masks pulled over their faces, threatened staff at the Cottage Stores, in Potterspury, on Monday night.
A police spokesman said: “Police are appealing for information after a robbery occurred on Monday, December 31, at approximately 7.30pm at Cottage Stores in High Street, Potterspury.
“Two offenders entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes. They made off with a quantity of cash and tobacco products.
“The first offender is described as a white man, between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 8ins tall, of a chubby build. He is described as wearing a woollen mask with holes around his eyes and mouth, a grey jumper and black gloves. He was holding a torch.
“The second offender is described as a white man, between 5ft 4ins and 5ft 5ins tall, of a medium build and was wearing a woollen patterned hat with a black cloth over his face.”
