Teenage Cobblers goalkeeper Dean Snedker made his international debut for the England under 19s tonight (Tues).
Snedker came on as a late substitute for Sunderland’s Jordan Pickford as England beat Denmark 3-1 at Doncaster Rovers’ Keepmoat Stadium.
The Town youth team product said on Twitter afterwards: “Unbelievable experience for me tonight, great win by the lads!
“Only got 10mins but is better than nothing! Just gotta keep working hard...”
England’s goals came from Arsenal’s Chuba Akpom (2) and Reading’s Dominic Samuel in what was regarded as a good performance by Noel Blake’s side.
