Sad news reaches us - no not of our demise (yet) - but that of Den Boy Meredith’s chicken named in, er, honour of us.
Den said Aufona - one of his favourites - passed away at the end of January after suffocating in his coop.
He’s buried in Den’s back garden where he will be “remembered with fondness”. A replacement, called “Edmondson” (I’d have preferred, say, Harry Redknapp or Julio Cesar, but am honoured nevertheless), will arrive shortly and we shall keep you posted as to his fortunes.
