A father-of-seven who turned to drugs and dealing after losing his father and job has been jailed for 21 months.

Ashley Bull’s Northampton home was raided by police on three occasions, when officers discovered cannabis, amphetamines, cocaine and ketamine.

Northampton Crown Court was told Bull had led a virtually blameless life before he started using drugs.

Bull, aged 37, of Joshua Square, Camp Hill, Northampton, admitted seven charges of possession with intent to supply, and possession of class A and B drugs.

Sentencing Bull, Judge Richard Bray made reference to the repeated warrants carried out by police. He said: “Almost unbelievably, you continued to offend.

“These are not large quantities of drugs and you do not have a bad record. But there has to be a prison sentence for such blatant possession of drugs.”
