Weather forecasters have predicted that snow will fall in Northampton later today.
The latest forecast from Pitsford Hall Weather Station in Pitsford said rain will continue throughout this morning before turning into sleet and then snow during the afternoon.
Some fairly widespread falls of snow are expected right across the county and the snow is expected to continue through this evening and overnight, but will become lighter and patchier.
Temperatures are expected to drop to freezing tonight and tomorrow will also be very cold with more snow.
The snow is expected to remain light but will continue to right into Monday evening.
