A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 68-year-old woman died from multiple injuries at a property in Northampton.
The 64-year-old man was arrested after the incident in Squires Walk, Spinney Hill, Northampton, on Friday, February 8.
A Northamptonshire Police spokesman confirmed it was a domestic incident and the victim suffered multiple injuries.
The man has since been released on bail.
