Police were called to Northampton railway station today after a driver stopped a train following concerns over a passenger who was said to be brandishing a knuckleduster.
Officers were called shortly before 11am following a call from British Transport Police, who had been alerted to a passenger who was ‘acting in an aggressive manner’ with a dog and a knuckleduster.
The man and his dog were led away by police and no knuckleduster was found.
He was not arrested in connection with any offence. Police were unable to confirm the breed of dog.
