The Early Learning Centre has announced it is pulling out of Northampton town centre.
The firm has confirmed its shop in Market Walk will close on Tuesday.
A spokesman for the firm directed shoppers to instead use Mothercare on the St James Retail Park in Towcester Road, which is owned by the same company.
She said: “We can confirm that the Early Learning Centre store in Northampton will close on Tuesday.
“The closure of this store is in line with our current portfolio plan.
“We hope this has not upset any customers.”
The closure is the second to hit Market Walk this month.
On March 9, the shopping centre’s branch of Laura Ashley also closed down.
Again, the company directed its customers to instead shop at their branch on the St James Retail Park.
