A “dangerous” man with strong links to Northampton is being hunted by police in connection with a savage assault in Milton Keynes.

Thames Valley Police today issued a photo of Darren Levy, aged 31, who is wanted in connection with the assaults, including one where a metal dog chain was used as a weapon.

He is believed to be in the Milton Keynes, Northampton or in the West Midlands areas, and is wanted in relation to two assaults,

During the attack, a man had an argument with a woman and a man outside Tesco Express in Walnut Tree around 1.20pm on Friday, September 7, 2012.

He then followed them into Studley Knapp, Walnut Tree, where he assaulted the man and assaulted the woman using a dog chain.

“This man is a dangerous individual, who is on a recall to prison. When he is arrested he will be immediately returned to prison and also charged with assault.

“I would advise the public not to approach this man, but if anyone sees him or knows of his whereabouts, please call us as soon as possible”

Police have warned if anyone sees Darren Levy to ring 999, or if you have information about his whereabouts call Thames Valley Police’s 24–hour Enquiry Centre on 101.
