A 25-year-old woman who was the passenger in a car which crashed into a row of terraced houses in Northampton remains in a serious condition in hospital.
Police were called to Swinford Hollow, Little Billing, shortly after 8.30pm on Wednesday night after the car went over a roundabout and smashed into the side of a terraced house, damaging two more adjoining homes.
Police said today the 33-year-old man, who was driving the vehicle and was arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm in connection with the incident, had been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The 25-year-old woman who was a passenger in the car remains in a serious condition at Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry.
