Scott Griffiths, Stuart Schofield and Paul Lambert scored the goals as Staples booked their place in the final of the Araglen Cup, seeing off Obelisk United Reserves 3-2 in a tight semi-final.
Obelisk replied through Carl White and Jamie Leavey.
Division Four Staples will be the underdogs in the final as they will be up against St Margaret’s A from division two.
Maggies eased to victory in their semi, seeing off Royals Reserves 7-1 thanks to goals from Jamie Walters, Carlos Gittens, Kerrith Belfon, Ashley Inwood (2) and Dan Carley (2).
Royals’ consolation was scored by Danny Attree.
Premier Division
Courtney Herbert scored twice to inspire Sunnyside Corinthians to a 3-2 victory over premier division title rivals Standens Barn.
The win puts third-placed Corinthians just two points behind leaders Barn with three games in hand.
Lewis Leslie got the other Corinthians goal, while Barn hit back with efforts from Rosko Cook and Ashley Bradshaw.
Second-placed James King Blisworth picked up another three points thanks to a 2-0 success over Monks Park WMC.
Andy Seaton and Richard Slater were the men on the mark to put Blisworth level on points with Barn.
Fazel Koriya was the hat-trick hero for St Margaret’s in a 3-1 win over Royals.
Division One
Harpole continued their unbeaten record with a 5-2 success over Sunnyside Corinthians Reserves.
Greg Ling did the damage, netting four in the win, while Shaun Markie chipped in with the other.
Harpole’s title rivals AFC Houghton Magna also secured a big win, sweeping aside Fox & Hounds 4-0 thanks to goals from Alex Smith, Grant Stuart, Dan Thomason and an own goal.
FC Polish Champions completed their campaign with a 4-3 away win over MDS Rangers.
Joe Lewis and Niall Duffy (2) were on target for Rangers but Champions took the goals courtesy of strikes from Damian Janisz, Lukasz Legowski, Lukasz Kowal and an own goal.
Ross Skidmore hit a hat-trick to help Midshire Electrial to a 6-2 win over Thorplands Club 81. Tim Hanna (2) and Andy Garrett got the others, while Ben Walker and Nadir Abdulkarim replied for Club 81.
Division Two
Roade’s Ally Foot, Andy Watts, Daniel Goode and Steve Carroll were all on target in a 5-1 win over Squirrels Reserves, who replied through Dan Cassidy.
Spartak are six points behind Roade after trouncing Howdenbeath 7-1.
Alex Law netted for Howdenbeath, but the winners’ strikes came from Will Briscoe (3), Matty Silecchia (2), Sam Leighton and an own goal.
It was double strikes for Harry Barnes, Scott Chilton and Craig Merrick and one for Mark Linnell that saw Duston & Diamonds to a 7-3 win over Outlet Sports. Pierre Coleman (2) and Sam Lavell hit Outlet’s consolations.
JWC Athletic were 4-2 winners over Thorplands Club 81 Reserves with their goals scored by Adam White, Craig Frost, Andre Lyburd and Nathan Garofalo.
Division Three
Crown & Cushion Utd take a 6-1 beating from hot title favourites Golden Horse.
Conner Botterill notched for Cush, but Horse eased home thanks to goals from Richard Crocket (2), Andy Broadbent, Gareth Errington (2) and Charlie Whiting.
AFC Dee were 3-1 winners over Billing United.
United’s scorer was Anthony Payne, but Adam Russell, Adam Burton and Ross Mallinder secured the points for Dee.
Wootton Fields lost 3-1 to Obelisk United.
Matt Hall scored for Wootton, but Dave Gillanders, Steve Smith and Curtis Bryan won it for United.
Division Four
Workhouse drew 1-1 with Windmill Warriors, a scoreline that doesn’t help their title bid.
Jamie Campbell netted for workhouse with Adam Baptiste levelling up.
FC Gallery are still in the shake-up thanks to a 2-1 win over FC Ryan Munich.
James Mason scored twice for the pub side, with Jack Harper replying.
Division Five
Spring Park have left it late, but they at long last claimed their first win of the season, seeing off Abington Stanley 4-3.
Todd Campbell, Jake McKenna (2) and Chris Hill were the goal stars, with Iain Holland-Hay (2) and Richard Corless scoring Stanley’s goals.
Leaders South Northants suffered their first league loss of the season, going down 4-3 to Hartwell Forest
Paul Smith, Michael Wilson and Ross Marriot (2) were on the mark for Forest, with Dave Wright (2) and Ian Alcock notching for South Northants.
Vesta are up to second thanks to a 4-1 win over Victoria Park Rangers.
Luke Berkshire scored for Rangers, but his effort was swamped by goals from Adam Hayes, Jordan Capps, Jason Bromwell and Tom Strand.
The District lost 4-1 against FC Locomotiv Moulton Reserves.
Craig Millar was District’s scorer, but Vinnie Hancock (2), Steve Osborne and Simon Moore claimed the points for Locomotiv Moulton.
Sixfields Rangers pipped a seven-goal thriler as they edged past Northampton Hotspur 4-3.
Steven Hobbs, Nick Floyer and Luke Meakins (2) were Rangers’ match winners, with Nick Marshall (2) and an own goal making up the Hotspur tally.

Meshac Clements was on target for Thorplands, but a hat-trick from Dean Humphries, two from Dan Thomason and one from Paul Dempsey sealing the points fro Magna,
Division Two
Roade hit Monks Park WMC Res for six.
Mick Ryan claimed four with Steve Carroll netting the other two. This put Roade three points clear of second placed side Spartak FC.
St Margaret’s A take over third place from Duston & Diamonds after beating them 4-3.
Maggies goals came from Fazel Koria, Jason Martin, and Brett Manning (2), with Craig Merrick (2) and Matt Johnson hitting back for Diamonds.
Division Three
Chris Fury hit a hat-trick and Dan O’Sullivan one as FC Locomotiv Moulton beat former leaders Crown & Cushion United 4-2. Scott Barczeski bagged both for Cushion.
Golden Horse were 6-0 winners at Brafield. Charlie Whiting led the way with four goals which were added to by goals from Gareth Errington and Ricky Knight.
Wootton Fields FC and visitors AFC Dee share the spoils in a 2-2 draw. Ben Stanmore and Jack Wright netted for Wootton and Adam Russell both for AFC Dee.
Division Four
Workhouse completed their 12th win and go two points clear with a 3-1 victory against Obelisk United Reserves.
Matty Pheely (2) and Ollie Gates scored for Workhouse, with Joe Robinson replying.
Windmill Warriors move level on points with FC Ryan Munich after a 3-1 win at home when meeting Butcher Loco FC who are second.
Martin Stones scored for Loco, but Sam Irons, Michael Parkes and Luke Holden won it for Warriors.
FC Gallery were 3-1 winners over fifth-placed Staples thanks to Troy Lewis and James Mason (2), Staples scoring through Sylvain Pabouef.
Division Five
Vesta FC move back to third place after beating Hartwell Forest 2-0 thanks to goals from Rob Pinney and Jason Bromwell.
South Northants wrap up another high scoring win as they beat Sixfield Rangers 6-0 with efforts from Dave Wright (2), Rolla Norton (2), Rob Wills and Rob Camper.
