Hundreds of Cobblers fans are queuing at Sixfields stadium to buy tickets for the play-off semi-finals.
The tickets for the Northampton Town Football Club npower League Two play-off semi-finals against Cheltenham Town went on sale at midday.
The team will take on the Robins in the first leg at Sixfields on Thursday before travelling to Whaddon Road next Sunday, May 5.
Head of media at the club, Gareth Willsher, said: “We knew it would be busy today and that’s why we opened early.
“All of the staff are in today selling tickets and we expect to sell out for the away game either today or tomorrow and the home game later in the week.”
The Cobblers have been allocated a few more than 1,550 tickets for the away leg, which will only be available to season-ticket holders until Tuesday.
From Wednesday they are available to season-ticket holders and club members only, from Thursday they are available to any supporter with a ticket stub from Saturday’s Barnet game, before going on general sale, if there are any remaining, on Thursday.
Tickets for the home leg are available to all supporters today, with season-ticket holders having until 7pm on Tuesday to buy tickets for their regular seat.Dav
