Saints have named a near full-strength team for their final Aviva Premiership match of the season at Harlequins on Saturday.

Jim Mallinder’s men are currently fourth and have already qualified for the end-of-season play-offs, but can still finish third in the table with a win at The Stoop.

Director of rugby Mallinder has made three changes to the side that demolished Sale Sharks in Saints’ last home game 13 days ago.

Dropping out are Tom May, who isn’t included in the matchday 23, Phil Dowson and GJ van Velze, and replacing them are George Pisi, who has recovered from a hamstring injury, Calum Clark and Samu Manoa.

A win for Saints would see them finish third and set up a likely semi-final trip to Welford Road to take on Leicester Tigers, while a defeat will mean they are likely to travel to Saracens.

Saints team to play Harlequins, Aviva Premiership, Twickenham Stoop, Saturday, May 4, ko 2.30pm: Ben Foden; Ken Pisi, George Pisi, Luther Burrell, Jamie Elliott; Stephen Myler, Lee Dickson; Soane Tonga’uiha, Dylan Hartley, Brian Mujati, Courtney Lawes, Christian Day, Calum Clark, Tom Wood, Samu Manoa.

Replacements: Mike Haywood, Alex Waller, Tom Mercey, Phil Dowson, GJ van Velze, Martin Roberts, Ryan Lamb, James Wilson
