A horse rider injured during the Brigstock Horse Trials at Rockingham Castle was airlifted to hpspital.
The woman in her 20s suffered chest and abdomen injuries in the accident at the three-day event held near Corby.
Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance was called out at about 12.35pm on Sunday May 19.
A spokesman for the air ambulance said: “Once on scene, air ambulance paramedics administered medication to the patient to help reduce internal bleeding, as well as giving pain relief and immobilising her.
“She was then flown to the major trauma centre at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire for further treatment.”
