Three thugs stole a pair of glasses and cigarettes from a man inside Greyfriars Bus Station, police have said.
The robbery happened on Thursday, at around 9pm, when the victim was sitting in bay F of the town centre bus station.
He was approached by three men, who were all described as white and aged between 16 and 20 years of age, who then grabbed him, pushed him and stole property from him.
They then walked off in the direction of The Mounts.
The first man was wearing a dark sweatshirt with white stripes on the arms, dark trousers with a white logo on the front pocket and white shoes.
The second was wearing a hooded top pulled tight around his face, which was light grey at the top with a dark lower half, black gloves, dark coloured trousers and black and white shoes.
The third was wearing a dark top with white stripes down the arms, dark coloured trousers and a dark baseball cap.
A police spokesman said: “The third offender stopped briefly to speak with two girls who were sitting on a bench in the bus station and may have known them.”
