Police are appealing for witnesses to a double bike robbery in Birds Hill Walk, Lings, Northampton.
A group of four men, with bikes, were approached by a man and a youth at 3pm on Friday when the older one tried to take one of the bikes from the group but eventually gave it back.
He then approached another member of the group, forcibly taking his mountain bike before riding off along Birds Hill Walk. The youth then stole a BMX bike from another member of the group and rode off in the same direction.
The first offender was white, aged in his late teens or early 20s, between 5ft 8in and 5ft 10in, with short dark hair. He was wearing knee-length combat shorts with a vest and trainers.
The second robber was white, aged 14 to 16, of a similar height and with blond hair. He was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms, a white T-shirt and trainers.
