Thieves stole a ‘significant amount’ of cash after they broke into a cash machine in Northampton.
The cash was stolen from the HSBC cash machine in Waterside Way, Lakeside. A spokesman for HSBC said the cash machine was severely damaged as a result of the raid.
The thieves are believed to have driven off in a dark Audi which was parked on Waterside Way.
Northamptonshire Police revealed today the details of the crime which took place on Wednesday, June 12 between 11.45 and midnight.
