The victim of a violent late-night robbery was left with a “puncture wound” to his face after he was attacked near the Carlsberg Brewery, in Northampton.
Police are appealing for information about the robbery, which saw the 23-year-old victim attacked by a gang of four men in Bridge Street during the early hours of last Sunday morning.
The robbery happened some time between 2.20am and 3.30am, near to the Carlsberg Brewery, when he was assaulted by the gang and had his wallet and phone stolen.
He sustained “a number of minor injuries including a puncture wound to his cheek which required stitches”.
All four men are described as black.
The victim has just walked down Bridge Street, towards London Road, from Greggs bakery.
He has no real recollection of the incident and was taken home by a taxi driver.
