A woman accused of defrauding her employers of more than £16,000 has appeared in court.
Sally Moran is accused of stealing the money from the Northampton branch of car rental firm Europcar over an 20-month period between April 1, 2011 and December 1, 2012.
Northampton Magistrates’ Court heard Moran is accused of making fraudulent entries when taking payments for hire cars, and stole a total of £16,732.
Moran, aged 47, formerly of Knightscliffe Way, Duston, Northampton, and now of Thrapston, pleaded not guilty to one charge of fraud by abuse of position.
She will appear at Northampton Crown Court later this year and was released on unconditional bail.
