Professional Music Technology is Northamptonshire’s main destination for musicians of all ages and abilities. Fully independently-owned, PMT is the largest brand in U.K. music equipment retail, supplying guitars, drums, synths, keyboards, microphones, PA systems and recording equipment.
The firm’s flagship Bridge Street store is one of 11 they have opened across the country. Covering two floors, the downstairs showroom displays around 500 guitars and basses, with all instruments and amplifiers available to try out in a private demo booth.

“Our staff have a wealth of experience and expertise within all aspects of music performance and production. We also sell gift vouchers, so if you don’t know what the musician in your life wants, there’s no need to panic.”
Store opening hours: Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 6pm, Sunday 11am to 5pm. Parking is available nearby in St Peter’s Way.
