A woman was abused and assaulted by a thug in what police say was a homophobic attack in a Northampton takeaway.
The assault happened on Saturday, June 29, between midnight and 3am, in Regent Square.
Officers have only appealed for witnesses today.
A woman was standing at the counter of Up All Night, waiting to order, when a man who was also ordering food started to abuse her.
Police say he used homophobic language and then pulled and pushed her, injuring her head.
The man was white, with a “tanned complexion” and light brown hair, shaved at the back and longer on top.
He was aged between 25 and 35, clean shaven, with slightly broad shoulders. He was wearing a grey or brown polo shirt and blue jeans.
