Police have today issued a photograph of a man they want to speak to following a vicious attack and robbery in Abington on Friday.
The attack happened at approximately midday, in Clarke Road, when a 48-year-old man from Northampton, was assaulted.
He was left unconscious as a result of the attack and had his mobile phone and wallet stolen.
Detectives believe Siavusas Jablonskis, pictured, may have information that could assist their investigation.
A police spokesman said: “It is believed the offender may then have met another man and got into an old style car.
“Officers are keen to speak with Siavusas Jablonskis in connection with the incident and are urging him or for anyone with information to come forward.
“Siavusas may be in the West Midlands or Leicestershire area.”
