A driver was airlifted to hospital suffering from head injuries and a broken shoulder last night following a crash on a Northamptonshire road.
Police have today appealed for information following the road traffic collision in Broughton at 6.40pm, at the junction of Broughton Road and Pytchley Road.
The crash involved a blue Ford Focus and a black Mercedes SLK.
Officers said the Focus was travelling from Pytchley and collided with the Mercedes, which was driving from Broughton towards Orlingbury.
The driver of the Focus, a 25-year-old woman from Wellingborough, was airlifted to Walsgrave Hospital, in Coventry, with a suspected head injury and broken shoulder.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 24-year-old man from Broughton, and his passenger, a 15-year-old boy, were taken to Kettering General Hospital with minor injuries.
