Whittlebury Park have set an early benchmark after following up a 3-2 group B away win at Kingsthorpe with a 5-0 home whitewash of Cherwell Edge.
Two early wins on the 18th hole against Kingsthorpe and 2&1 success for Richard Salter and Matthew Clulow secured the first victory, while David Melling and Michael Hancock impressed against Cherwell.

In group D, Silverstone held their nerve against Oundle as they clinched four out of five points in a tight home match.
Despite a one-hole win for Oundle in the first game, Mark Riley and Alex Sexton (2&1) and Dave Makepeace and Stuart Holmes (2&1) gave the hosts the lead, before Silverstone took the final two ties on the 18th.
