Spencer will represent UCL Division One in the preliminary round of the FA Cup thanks to a 2-0 derby success over Bugbrooke at Kingsthorpe Mill.

Jack Bartley made the breakthrough for the Millers 10 minutes into the second half.

It took until three minutes from time for Spencer to seal their win with an 87th-minute spot kick from Luke Stone.

The Cooks played out a second goalless draw in five days at Compton Park as they failed to break down Spartan South Midlands visitors Tring.

The sides will meet in Hertfordshire on Tuesday.

After two league draws, Long Buckby made a disappointing Cup exit to lower grade opposition as they were beaten 3-1 at King’s Langley.

The visitors made a shocking start conceding to Tom Carter two minutes in and Jack Johnson after 11 minutes.

Tobi Ibukun replied for Buckby with a debut goal two minutes later.

Johnson sealed the home passage five minutes past the hour mark.

A battling performance by Woodford gave them hope for the future despite their 3-0 cup exit at the hands of Harefield.

The Reds squad was playing its first match together and went in at half-time at 0-0.

Daniel Fleming put Harefield ahead five minutes into the second half with Mark Sargent doubling the home lead on the hour.

Five minutes later Paolo Cicero completed the scoring.
