Police in Northampton have arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with the theft of so-called Asian gold during a burglary in Kingsthorpe.
The suspect, who is from Leicestershire, was arrested and charged on Friday and appeared before Northampton Magistrates Court on Saturday.
He is charged in connection with burglary on September 8, in Hinton Road, where a quantity of jewellery was stolen.
The suspect was remanded in custody until November.
