Ethan Waller has become the latest academy ace to sign a professional deal at Saints.
The 20-year-old prop, whose older brother Alex was the club’s young player of the year last season, has yet to make his full Northampton debut.
But he has done enough during the past 18 months with the Wanderers and in loan spells at Coventry and Moseley to earn a full contract.
And Saints boss Jim Mallinder is delighted to have tied the youngster to the club for the foreseeable future.
“Ethan is a player with plenty of talent and a desire to succeed at the highest level,” said Mallinder.
“He has applied himself well since he joined the senior academy and we are very happy that he has signed a first team contract this early in the season.
“We believe that he has a bright future ahead of him at Franklin’s Gardens as part of the Saints squad.”
