But there was bad news for John Johnson, who has re-injured his left knee and will undergo a second operation of the season to correct the problem, putting him out of first-team action until January.
Also missing until that point will be David Artell (Achilles) and Luke Guttridge (broken metatarsal), while Alex Nicholls is out for at least nine months with a broken leg.
