Chris Davies scored twice as Standens Barn saw off fellow Combination rivals Dynamo in the NFA Sunday Cup - but they needed extra-time to do it.
The teams were locked at 2-2 after 90 minutes with Ben Diamond scoring twice for Dynamo, but Barn had the edge in extra-time to win 4-2. Their other goals were scored by Danny Brown and Charlie Wixon.
Monks Park WMC are also into the semi-finals after theuy saw off Burton Band 3-2. On target were Elliott Muddiman (2) and Reece Coleman.
Also into the last four are AC Squirrels as strikes from Jamie Ellis (2) and Paul Edwards eased them to a 3-0 win over Wellingborough Shelly Road.
The only Combination casualty saw Blakesley thrashed 11-0 at Wellingborough Victoria Millers.
In the NFA Sunday Shield, Russell Aitkin was Windmill Warriors’ hat-trick hero as they beat Peterborough Baker Perkins 5-3. Also on the mark were Mark Pinches and Michael Parks.
In the NTFA Chronicle & Echo Cup, Neil Holt (2), Richard Bennett (2) and Jack Kaare were among the scorers for AFC Dee as they beat AFC Hackleton 6-1, which was the same score that Crown & Cushion saw off Bat & Wickets by.
Grant Murphy netted a treble for Cush with their other efforts coming from Oliver Clarke, Luke Abrahart and Mike Pinto.
FC Gallery were too good for Billing United as they won 3-1 thanks to James Mason Sean Wilkes and Shane Reilly, but St Margaret’s A were thumped 6-0 by Conference side Cotton Hill.
Howdenbeath were involved in an amazing game against another Conference side in The Peacock. Howdenbeath were at one point 4-1 ahead, but they ended up drawing 6-6 at the end of 90 minutes. In extra-time it was The Peacock who found the extra gear to win 8-7. Beath’s scorers were Alex Law (3), Darren Rider, John Burns (2) and Craig Bounds .
Elsewhere, Obelisk United were 6-3 winners over Nene FC thanks to the efforts of Kurt Baker (2), Curtis Bryan, Carl White, Alex O’Grady and Phil Sullivan.
Roade also found their shooting boots as they smashed Devonshire Club 11-1. Ali Foote hit four, Dan Porter three, Mickey Ryan two and Leo McDonnell and Steve Carroll one apiece.
In the NTFA Plester Shield round two, Abington Stanley enjoyed a 4-1 win over Sixfields Rangers thanks to strikes from Ben Brakes, Gavin Saunders, Wayne Sidney and an own goal.
Lee Gavin and Luke Marlow both hit doubles for AFC Pioneers as they also won 4-1, over Spring Park. Charlie Treadgold netted for Park.
The District exit the competition after a 3-2 loss at the hands of Albany Athletic. Daniel Bazeley and Daniel Rednall were on target for District.
Butchers Loco made no mistake in their tie against Eastern United, Jamie Wright, Martin Stones, Chris Law and an own goal ensuring they triumphed 4-2.
Another Combination side to join them in the next round were FC Locomotiv Moulton Res, who recorded a 5-1 win against AFC Hackleton Res. Sam Jeyes, Barry Walters, Chris Venn and an own goal ensured a comfortable morning’s work.
FC Ryan Munich strolled into the next round as they hammered Nomads of Barratts 7-1. Donovan Reed, Sam Duggan and Jack Harper all netted doubles, while David Duggan chipped in with another.
Jarvis Bigley led the way with a brace as Hartwell Forest won 4-1 at Norfolk Square. Scott Wilson and Andy Fair got the others.
Royals Reserves slumped to a 5-1 defeat to Northampton Hotspurs. Chris Marriott netted for Royals from the spot but goals from Martin Cafferty, Dave Williams, Karl Hoy, Glen Smith and Dan Hawksworth did the business for Hotspurs.
South Northants were another side to secure a big shield win. They hammered Real Roochers Res 5-1 thanks to goals from Matthew Boyes, Rob Kirby, John Brown (2) and Ryan Camper.
FC Gallery Res scraped through by the odd goal in seven at the expense of Thorplands United Res. Jordan Hornby, Che Johnston, Steven Hamilton and John Burke got the Gallery goals.
Rob Pinney (3) and Jason Bromwell (2) got five between them as Vesta swept aside FC County Res 6-1. Lee Marriott got the other.
In the Parker Cup, division two leaders Duston Diamonds overcame mid-table JWC Athletic 4-1. Craig Merrick (2), Scott Chilton and Harry Barnes netted for Diamonds, JWC hitting back through Delroy Kilborn.
In the premier division, Royals suffered their seventh-straight league defeat as they lost 3-0 at home to James King Blisworth.
Gokhan Ulker nets twice to record a 2-1 win and put St Margaret’s up to second place. Lloyd Skidmore scored for The Sunnyside.
Harpole took a firm grip on division one as they thrashed St Margaret’s Res 8-1. Josh Winters (3), Greg Ling (2), Jez Hindle, Sam McCallum and Joe Frost all netted in the rout.
Second-placed AFC Houghton Magna also won comfortably, beating MDS Rangers 5-1 with goals from Dean Humphrey, Alex Smith, Nicky Harding (2) and Simon Blowman.
Sunnyside Corinthians Res didn’t have it all their own way against FC Polish Champions but still edged the contest 4-3. Adam Quigley (2), Tom Catton and Lee McConnell got the winning goals for Corinthians.
Nile Hollowell, Ross Skidmore, Dixie Garrett, Ryan Percival and Arron Hunt were all on target for Midshire Electrical in their 5-2 success over Manfield Rangers.
Fox & Hounds moved up to fourth thanks to a 2-0 win against Thorplands Club 81. Kevin Westley and Jacob Gartland got the goals to ensure all three points.
In division four, Staples have gone up to third thanks to an 8-0 thumping of The Sunnyside Res. Dan Gray (2), Stuart Schofield (3), Stephen Croft, Richard Mosdell and Scott Griffith all netted.
Victoria Park Rangers and Obelisk United had to settle for a point apiece after scrapping out a 4-4 draw. Rangers struck through Sam French (2), Andrew Dawkins and Anthony Orji, Obelisk’s replies coming courtesy of Brandon Church (2), Henry Hall and Graham Ahearn.
This week’s star award goes to Golden Horse, who beat Spartak 4-3 on penalties after extra-time.
