London Welsh wing Dan Caprice has been cited for a dangerous tackle on Saints counterpart Jamie Elliott during Saturday’s clash at Franklin’s Gardens.
Caprice hit Elliott high and late, earning himself a yellow card in the process, hampering his side on their way to a 23-16 defeat.
Elliott was not injured in the tackle and picked himself up off the floor as referee David Rose sent the Welsh man to the sin bin.
Independent citing officer John Byett’s report has landed Caprice in further trouble and he will now have his case heard at a disciplinary hearing in Coventry on Tuesday night.
