Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford has officially opened a new medical centre in Northampton.
The new premises in Billing Road has combined the Witty, Pask & Buckingham Chartered Physiotherapists and the new County Clinic.
The partnership will mean the centre will be able to offer a higher quality of patient care, with physiotherapists, podiatrists, consultants and surgeons working together under the same roof.
Director of Witty, Pask & Buckingham chartered physiotherapists, Mark Buckingham, said:
“Having helped set-up the high performance sports medicine unit at Loughborough University for
UK Athletics, I know how valuable it is to work in close proximity with fellow experts to help patients recover faster and better.
“This partnership is something myself, Bill Ribbans and David Stock have wanted to do for a while
and I’m delighted that we’ve managed to join forces.
“To have Greg Rutherford officially open the joint premises shows how highly regarded the work
we do here is and I hope any future patients will see that this is the place to come to if in need
of any professional care.”
