Police have this afternoon named the teenager victim of a fatal road crash near Ashby St Ledgers, in Northamptonshire, at the weekend.
Nineteen-year-old Gemma Stanley from Coventry died in the collision on the A361 on Saturday.
The collision took place on 4.50pm on the road towards Kilsby when a green Ford Focus was in collision with a black Range Rover.
The 24-year-old man who was driving the Ford Focus Ms Stanley was travelling in remains in Walsgrave Hospital in a serious condition.
The 64-year-old man driving the Range Rover was taken to Northampton General Hospital but was later released.
