A robber who targeted a man in Northampton to steal keys to then break into his home was today sentenced to more than six years in jail.
Liam Wiggins, 21, from Bailiff Street, Northampton was today sentenced at Northampton Crown Court to six and a half years in prison.
He pleaded guilty to committing an assaulting a man in Northampton on March 4 and a robbery and burglary in Northampton the following day.
The judge sentenced him to six months in prison for the assault and six years for the robbery to be served consecutively and two years for the burglary – which will be served at the same time as the six year sentence.
Wiggins admitted the offences.
