A pedestrian was left in hospital with serious injuries after a suspected hit and run in Duston on Boxing Day.
Police have today said they are appealing for witnesses following the incident, which took place on Cotswold Avenue at 10.10pm.
The 56-year-old was crossing the road between Mendip Road and Newton Road, near a bus stop, when he was hit by a vehicle, which then failed to stop.
The man was taken to Northampton General Hospital for treatment.
Detectives say they currently have no description of the vehicle and have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact the Collision Investigation Team on 101 or call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615.
