Police sealed off an area of Northampton on Tuesday night as part of an ‘on-going’ operation during which a number of cars were seized.
The focus of the investigation was Derby Road and Henry Street.
A statement released to the Chronicle & Echo said: “The Crime Agency carried out a number of searches of vehicles in the Derby Road area and a number of vehicles have been seized.
“Investigations are on-going,” the statement added.
Police said they could make no further comment.
