A teenager is due to appear before magistrates this morning charged with a serious sexual assault.
The 19-year-old man, of no fixed abode, is due to appear at Northampton Magistrates Court following a report of an attack almost a fortnight ago.
Officers were called to an address in St James on February 1, between 7am and 7.30am, where an alleged serious sexual assault was reported.
A 19-year-old man was arrested and has since been remanded into custody.
