The Northampton School for Boys under-18 rugby team will today attempt to earn a place in the final of a national cup competition, to be held at Twickenham.

NSB head to Broadstreet RFC for the Daily Mail RBS Schools Under-18 Cup semi-final clash with Warwick School, with the winners progressing to finals day at English rugby HQ on March 23.

Today’s match kicks off at 1pm, with coaches carrying students and staff departing the school at 11am.

Mark Lee, rugby coach at the school, said: “We are taking two coach loads of supporters with us and I’m sure that there will be other supporters who travel independently.

“The slight complication is that two of our teams have got matches against a touring team from Essex but they are going for a morning kick off which should give them enough time to get over to Broadstreet to support us.”

Today’s match is being played at Broadstreet Rugby Club, The Ivor Preece Field, 105 Rugby Road, Binley Woods, Coventry, Warwickshire, CV3 2AY.

Entry to grounds is adults £3 and students £1
