A set of traffic lights at a busy junction in Northampton town centre were out of action this morning due to an unknown fault.
Engineers from Northamptonshire County Council’s highways team were called out to fix the problem after they lost power on Saturday.
The traffic lights were fixed at 11am.
A spokesman for the county council said earlier today: “Engineers are investigating a fault with the set of traffic lights at the junction of Wellingborough Road and St Edmund’s Street, Northampton.
“Engineers have carried out repairs on a number of occasions over the weekend but the problem has persisted.”
