The Cobblers will play Wolves at Sixfields in the second round of the Capital One Cup.
Town, who beat Cardiff City 2-1 in round one on Tuesday night, will play host to the npower Championship side on the Tuesday or the Wednesday of the week commencing Monday August 27.
The game is a repeat of the second-round fixture between the two teams last season.
