Sporting Lings sprang a surprise by beating Hardingstone 3-1 to set up a League Cup final date with Delapre Old Boys, who got the better of Mereway United also by 3-1.
James Church, Ezmerald Molla and Matthew Brown all got on the score sheet for Lings, while a Martin Stones strike accounted for the ‘Stones’ reply.
Delapre Old Boys could make it a league and cup double after recording a 3-1 success against Mereway courtesy of goals from Darren Andrews, Thomas Blackie and Charles Whiting leaving Jack Winkel to hit Mereway’s retort.
In the premier division Harlequins went nap as they beat Thorplands Club 81 5-1.
Steffon Chambers led the way with a brace and was supported by Dan Healy and Aaron Myrie. Thorplands’ consolation came via Ben Walker.
