People are being asked what they think about how Northampton Borough Council is performing.
Surveys started two years ago and in that time satisfaction with the council has increased as have views on whether the council provides value for money.
To help track the council’s progress residents are being asked what they think about the following areas: level of satisfaction with the way the council runs things, information about services provided by the council, ability to influence decisions affecting the local area, and whether or not people agree or not that the council provides value for money?
Councillor David Mackintosh (Con, Rectory Farm), leader of Northampton Borough Council, said: “In the current economic climate it is more and more important that local government focuses on protecting frontline services and delivering value for money. And this was a key part of our budget.
“This is residents’ chance to tell us how they think we are doing, and how we should focus our efforts in the future as we continue to make our town a better place to live in, work in and visit.”
The satisfaction survey is available online at: www.surveymonkey.com/s/nbctrackerspring until May 31.
The council is also looking for people to join its Residents’ Panel to give their views on a regular basis. Anyone who would like to find out more can visit: www.northampton.gov.uk/residentspanel
