THE recent Dalepak Winter Naps League presentation evening raised £400 for the Cynthia Spencer Hospice at the Northampton WMC as a result of the Dave Brawn race-night and a raffle, so thanks to all who came along and supported us.
The summer season kicked into gear on Saturday and first day leaders are Mick Penny (The Wife Can Do Better) and Andrew Rogers (Go Getters) who backed the 10/1 winner Boonga Roogeta which scored in the 1m 1f Makfi Suffolk Stakes Handicap for trainer Peter Charalambous and jockey Rosie Jessop, who has won on it five times!
Saturday’s flat racing will involve selections from Ascot, Lingfield, Nottingham, Thirsk and Warwick.
