A man in his 60s has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after an accident at a roundabout.
The incident earlier today, at the junction of the A5 and A508 in Old Stratford, caused the A5 to be closed in both directions.
Inspector John Lloyd, from Northamptonshire Police, said: “This was a single-vehicle accident on the roundabout. A male in his 60s suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by helicopter. Police are investigating.”
The road is open again, although Insp Lloyd said it may be closed again at some point so the vehicle can be recovered.
The victim has been taken to Milton Keynes Hospital within the last 30 minutes.
